Current Auxiliary and Sensing Transformers
Features:
- Bus bar or single turn or multi turns primary with suitable high grade low loss toroidal cores/E&I lamination, winding is designed for the required current and Knee voltage (saturation of flux and ISF)
Current transformers are designed with Toroidal and EI Laminations to measure high current by stepping down 10 to 1000 times for measurement / sensing and protection.
These are designed at linear flux density to get accuracy up to 0.1 to 5%.
In measuring system ISF (Instrument safety factor)
In protection system linearity to maintain several times the normal current (Customer specification)
These have to be terminated with suitable burden resistance.
- Range: 1-10000 Amperes.
- Burden: 0.5VA to 50VA.
- Frequency: 50/60/400Hz.
- Di- Electric strength: 100V TO 3.5KV.
Applications
- Current measurement and current sensing.
